The Set service state action allows you to set the state of a Windows service or Launch Daemon/Agent.

| Service | The name of the service or daemon, for example: Windows update or com.apple.softwareupdated | 
| Action | Choose the new status of the service: Start, Stop, Pause, Resume. The Pause and Resume actions are not supported for macOS. |

| Context | The level at which the action is executed, User or Device. The context will be ignored on Windows OS. On macOS, in order to specify a launch daemon, use the device context and to specify a launch agent, use the user context. | 
| Wait for completion | Determines if Application Workspace will wait before this action is finished before executing the next action. |
