Application Workspace also supports direct access to get content directly from the Azure Blob storage. In case your Application Workspace System is hosted on Recast Software's cloud infrastructure and you configured an on-premise Application Workspace Satellite Server you need to configure the firewall to allow the content URIs. To see the URIs, navigate to User Portal > Device > Content Access.
To ensure proper functionality, a firewall exclusion must be configured for the loopback address (127.0.0.1) on ports 5811 and 5812. This allows local communication between application components without being blocked by firewall rules.
Microsoft Defender
For Microsoft Defender, you should consider adding an exclusion or disabling the Network Protection feature when experiencing slow downloads from the Application Workspace System. This occurs when domains (that the Recast zone is running on) has a low reputation.
