Run filter script

Use Run filter script to check if devices fulfil the right conditions to install/launch applications or actions, by select the path to the script file that will be executed.

General
Type Run filter script
Script engine The script engine to use when executing the script:
  • Windows only - Batch, VBScript, Windows PowerShell
  • macOS only - Bash, Zsh, AppleScript
  • Windows and macOS - JavaScript, PowerShell (Core)
Script Select the path to the script file that will be executed.
Arguments Insert the arguments for the script file.
Directory Select the working directory.
Operator You can filter either by the output of the script or the success return code. Available options: Value, Return code
Exists Define whether or not the return code or the output of the script should match the given values. Available options: Yes, No
Success return codes The return code(s) that will be evaluated against the set filtering. You can specify multiple return codes by delimiting them with spaces.
Advanced
Context The level at which the filter is executed, User or Device.
Engine arguments Insert the arguments you want to pass to the script engine.
Time out The time in seconds after which the filter process is stopped. For example, some filters run during login, and if it takes too long and you don't want the login process to be hanging too much, you can consider decreasing the timeout value of the filter.

Agent

It requires the Agent to be running.
