Set service startup type

The Set service startup type action allows you to set the startup type of a Windows service or Launch Daemon/Agent.

Name

Actions are easier to comprehend and manage over time when they have a suitable name that accurately expresses what they do.

Service The name of the service or daemon, for example: Windows update or com.apple.softwareupdated
Startup The designated startup state: Boot, System, Automatic, Manual, Disabled. The Boot and System startups are valid only for device context.
Advanced
Context The level at which the action is executed, User or Device.
The context will be ignored on Windows OS. On macOS, to specify a launch daemon, use the device context and to specify a launch agent, use the user context.

Agent

It requires the Agent to be running.
