The Credential Store allows you to add and configure credentials within the Liquit Workspace. The credentials can be used within packages, to perform network actions under the 'Device' context using the specified network credentials or for enabling SSO for specific actions.
With the use of Dynamic Variables its possible to create variables that are linked to a credential object. These variables can be used within actions, for example use the username and/or password in command line parameters within "Start Process" action or within an URL of an "Open URL" action.
The following types of credentials are available:
Type | Description |
---|---|
Static | Static credentials allow for fixed username and password authentication. |
Dynamic | Template credentials provide the means to create dynamic per user credentials. When using the template the user has to specify their credential only once during first usage of this template. |

The details screen provides a few basic options to configure the Credential.
Static
Name | Description |
---|---|
Name | A friendly name for the Credential |
Type | The type of Credential, this can’t be changed after creation |
Description | A description for the Credential |
Username | The username used for authentication |
Password | The password used for authentication |
Template
Name | Description |
---|---|
Name | A friendly name for the Credential |
Type | The type of Credential, this can’t be changed after creation |

Username | Specify the default syntax for constructing the username. The following variables are available:

Verify Password | When Verify passwords is enabled, the password will be validated with the Identity Source before being accepted. |
Dependencies
The "Dependencies" tab shows where this credential is used. Credentials can be used within Variables and Actions (Packages).
