MOVEit Transfer

In order to perform a silent install of MOVEit Transfer 10.2 and up, you have to run the setup with its GUI, to generate a response file.

KB article 000190722 has all the instructions. After the response file has been generated, this is how you can use it to silently install MOVEit.

To silently install MOVEit using a response file, complete the following steps.

1. Open a command prompt.

2. Run the following command:
   <Install_File>.exe -L ResponseFile=":<ResponseFile>.txt"
   Where, <Install_File> is the name of the product installation file,
   is the installation language
   is the location where the response file is saved,
   is the name of the response file

   For example:

   MOVEit_install.exe –L1033 ResponseFile="C:\InstallResponseFile.txt"
