If you get this error, Setup Commander can’t connect to your primary ZCM server.

Check if you have used the right IP-address or DNS name for your server, the ports and credentials. If this is all correct then you have to check if the webservice of your primary ZCM server is running. Setup Commander uses this service to connect to you server.

Point your browser to:

bc8

bc9

You should see this screen.

bc10

Then go to:

bc11

You get this screen.

bc12

Then call the function getRootPath

That should give you as a result:
/~bundles~

If you don’t, then there is something wrong with the webservice of you ZCM server.

More information on the webservices is found here for ZENworks 2020 on a Windows server:

For webservices on ZENworks 10:

If all is well with your webservice, there is another reason Setup Commander can’t connect. It can be caused by a virus protection suite or firewall on your local computer. Disable this first to see if you can connect. If you can, then whitelist Setup Commander in your protection suite.
